Once I set up a custom video card setting in relation to this games Fate.EXE file the game played ok, but I did see some lag in the mouse controls and no ability in game to adjust that. Had to set up nVidia custom graphics settings for Fate.EXE and bring down the graphics from optimized to slower degraded mode otherwise black screen on start of game. And Diablo 1 and 2 have been so played to death by me that its nice to have another dungeon crawler to experience for just $9, whereas Diablo 3 is still insanely priced at $60 for what should be a $30 title.Ĭons: Game did not run after installation until custom graphics settings defined. Very similar to Torchlight and lots of similarities to items and features of Diablo 1 and 2. I give one egg only because of this potential being so unnecessarily undermined. It is only because of this issue that I cannot recommend "Fate" despite it's potential fun factor. as it is I removed the program in it's entirety. If the game were allowed to stand on it's own I think this would've been a fun simple game to play while occupied with other tasks.
